As a Blood Program Consultant/Recruiter for OBI, I had the pleasure of working and learning from Dr. Gilcher for over 10 years! It will always be my “Favorite” job! I was so sad to leave when my family and I moved home to MN! Dr. Gilcher told me at the time, the door was always open if I ever wanted to come back. I was tempted many times and so thankful for his offer! He always inspired and motivated me with his knowledge of the Blood Banking World! We were proud in the work we were doing to provide a blood supply for our community. It was a bonus when we could help other communities in need. I will always treasure my memories working for Dr. Gilcher! I loved seeing him at his dedication. It was great seeing my former OBI Colleagues and Friends! Dr. Gilcher, I will miss you!
