As one of the founders of OBI I was elated to see how Dr. Gilcher was able to grow OBI into the Center it became. It was not easy. But his tenaciety, sacrifice and at times courage even at great risk to himself allowed OBI to grow into the National Center it became. Many are alive today because of Dr. Gilcher. When I think of Dr. Gilcher I think of the Hippocratic Oath that Dr. Gilcher took so many years ago that says in part… “With purity and with holiness we will pass our life and practice our art.”
